Members from the SMART Transportation Division General Committee 875 were on hand at the public meeting on Saturday, February 6, to speak out against the proposed service changes and line eliminations proposed by the LACMTA. There was significant public opposition was well and the service council members seemed receptive to the public comment.
The second of the two meetings will be held tonight at Division 9 in El Monte. Members from the San Gabriel Valley Service Council will be at that meeting to take and hear the public testimony on the elimination of Bus Lines 190 and 194.

The San Gabriel Valley Service Council will make a recommendation on the proposed service changes and that recommendation will have a major impact on the decision made by the MTA Board. Your brothers and sisters at Division 9 will need as much support as they can get to convince the Service Council to keep Lines 190 and 194.
